About the event

Many Pennsylvania businesses are familiar with the EITC program for supporting education, but NAP is different. The Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) provides PA tax credits of up to 95% for businesses that contribute to a wide range of community projects—including workforce development, food security, housing, and digital inclusion.

Hear from a diverse panel of program experts, business leaders and nonprofits who have seen the benefits of NAP

  • Michael Shorr, Regional Director of the PA Department of Community & Economic Development, will provide key details about the NAP program and how it works.

  • Betsy Roush, VP of Community Relations at Univest, will share how Univest utilizes NAP to combine tax benefits with strategic philanthropic impact.

  •  Lydia Messinger, Development Manager at RSVP Volunteers, will share how NAP funding enhances RSVP’s education and wellness programs for vulnerable populations.
