One-on-One Student Support
Trained volunteers assist teachers and students in classrooms
with reading, enabling teachers to continue with instruction.

Teachers guide volunteers with instruction and materials addressing reading skills such as phonics, fluency and comprehension

Volunteer reading coaches commit to a minimum of one hour every week

Sessions may include partner reading, story retelling and writing activities

Volunteers are placed in one classroom for the school year to provide consistency
