Nonprofit organizations often focus their limited time and resources on programs, fundraising, and community impact, but legal issues can create significant operational risk if they are not identified and addressed early. This workshop will provide nonprofit leaders with a practical framework for assessing an organization’s legal needs and spotting issues before they become more difficult or costly to resolve.
The presentation will focus on common legal considerations for nonprofit organizations, including corporate governance and compliance and employment law issues. The goal of the workshop is to provide nonprofit leaders with practical issue-spotting guidance and a better understanding of when to seek legal guidance.
