In The Spotlight : Claire Renner
Claire has been volunteering at Mercy Suburban Hospital Gift Shop since 1985 when she started as a volunteer shop assistant. Claire is now fully responsible for running the shop. In this role, Claire supervises 17 volunteers and works tirelessly, putting in many extra hours at home to fulfill her duties. She often works long into the night perusing catalogs, placing orders and completing necessary paperwork. It is not unusual for Claire to put in 60 volunteer hours per month. Prior to her retirement, Claire was an accountant for Budd Company, a position she held for 40 years. Thank you Claire from RSVP for all you do for your community! |

Congratulations to RSVP volunteer, Claire Renner, featured as this month’s Volunteer Spotlight selection. Claire was recently honored as Volunteer of the Year by RSVP Central Area Coordinator, Harriet Klein. The award was presented at RSVP’s annual Recognition Luncheon for the Central Area of Montgomery County held May 3 at Plymouth Country Club.
