In The Spotlight : Catherine Haack

Traditionally, the December holidays bring joy, reflection, and thanks – therefore, it’s entirely appropriate that this month RSVP highlights Catherine Haack, Volunteer Coordinator for RSVP’s Speakers Bureau. Catherine, a Shannondell Community resident, has volunteered at our Plymouth Meeting office for a minimum of 5 hours each week for the past 3 years.

She assists Lorrie Zabludoff, RSVP's Speakers Bureau Administrator, by scheduling speaking presentations, creating program materials, and collecting volunteer hours. Often working independently at her desk, Catherine is great at solving “last minute” problems, and is always tactful, accommodating, and nice to have around.

In addition, Catherine is a volunteer for V.O.A.D. (Volunteer Organizations Active in Disasters) and is ready and able to assist and respond to people who are affected by disaster. She is also helping to set up time schedules for book wrapper volunteers, as part of RSVP’s holiday fund raiser with Barnes and Noble. Thank you, Catherine, for all you do!
